21st in Charleston = really awesome. Pictures
here.
Tyler and Corbin left for Europe on Monday afternoon. I rode to the airport with their mom. It was sad to see Tyler go but he is going to have a really awesome time and I'm excited for him. :D The weirdest thing will be not making dinner with him every night. He will be posting in
this travel blog if anyone is interested in following it. Our trip from last summer is in there too.
Today was the first real day of summer classes. I am taking three 2hr 45min classes back to back from 11am - 7:45pm on Tuesdays and on Thursdays I only have the first and last one. It actually wasn't horrible. The two education classes are fun (yes, coloring activities!) and my science class seems like it will be interesting. I felt pretty energetic when I got home so I went to the gym and ran 2 miles between the treadmill and elliptical. That is a rare, rare thing. I came back and took a bath. Asha, Tyler's cat that I am watching while he is gone, was in the bathroom with me and she decided to climb around the edge of the tub.. She totally fell in.
I was working 40 hours a week between school semesters but am back down to about 30 hours now. I still feel suuuuper busy but it's doable. I just need to keep reminding myself that I have to do this if I want to graduate by spring of 2012!
I talked to Brit for the first time in aaaaages the other day. I can't believe we've known each other for 10 years now.. She is somehow taking 18 hours this summer and graduating early at the end of July. I soooo wish that was me. Her and Max are moving in together around the same time as Tyler and I and I thought that was really neat. ^.^ I need to be better at keeping in touch with people. She and I always get really caught up in other stuff and we never see each other since she goes to UGA and we're both so busy but every time we start talking again it's like no time has passed and that is what I really love about our friendship.
