I got the job at JCP! After they get my background check and realize I am not a criminal I'll go in for training. It is only a holiday position but my hourly rate is more than anywhere else I've worked so that's cool. It is also on the same road that I live off of. I guess I'll really only work there for 3 weeks unless they keep me for part time but I don't find out until it is happening... I got home from work to a house full of slightly intoxicated extended family. My aunt/uncle/cousin/grandpa combo came up from Florida together and tomorrow my aunt/uncle that live in Marietta will be coming over for dinner. They've already insulted my choice in pets far too many times for me to be okay with. I understand not everyone can like rats but to shield your face when you come into my room and make ucky noises in front of me.. That's rude and uncalled for especially from a 40some year old woman. My sister and cousin were poking fun at me earlier about it so I told my aunt I was on a short fuse already and I didn't want to hear her insult the pets that I love. She came in my room later and tried to show some interest and actually looked at them... realizing she made me upset earlier. This stuff gets old. I would not have them if they were vile and diseased.
Tyler and I still need to figure out what part of the trail we're going on this weekend. I don't want to drive toooooo far North. My mom doesn't like the idea of me hiking and always tries to talk me out of it. She keeps on reminding me that it will be cold at night. Really? I've just been replying with something like "well I guess camping isn't for you".
