My best friend.
I'd like to dedicate this entry to my best friend.
She's getting older, but she looks as pretty as she ever did.
She goes out for hours at a time without so much as a goodbye.
When she comes back all she wants is a hug and a meal.
She's pretty much middle aged now, but she still catches the mice.
Every week, a new dead animal on our doorstep, courtesy of her.
She's been with me for so long now, though all the heartache and the good times too.
I really couldn't ask for a better best friend.
