This week

Yeh so before I was distracted by crazy Japanese TV, I was about to update what I've been doing this week. I've been on holiday so it's been good, although I really meant to rest and I haven't had time. So far:

  • Went to a tattoo show and watchd my friend Mary get a new tattoo
  • Met the Yakuza (see tattoo show)
  • Saw a girl in metallic pink hotpants and high heels do the splits upside down (see tattoo show)
  • Ate Dominoes pizza (it's a big deal here because none of us can use the phone to order/have a car)
  • Bought Chanel facewash - classy! (my face doesn't like Japanese water)
  • Met Mary's sister from Canada
  • Got a hair cut and colour - and it's not horrible! yay, it's actually quite nice.
  • Got a massage at the hairdresser (free with a cut and colour ?!)
  • Went to Harajuku to point and gawk at lame Japanese kids sitting on the bridge (and some even lamer foreigners too) - sorry Gwen Stefani, I know you love them but....
  • Saw Dancing Elvises
  • Went to Disney Sea with 1.8L bottle of Jinro (Korean vodka)
  • Bought Mickey ears
  • Got drunk at Disney Sea
  • Laughed Japanese girls in mini skirts and high heels at Disney Sea - yes, they wear them even on rollercoasters
  • Got ordered around by the Nazi staff with their glowsticks at Disney Sea
  • Woke up hungover and watched 50 episodes of Prince of Tennis - mada mada dane..
  • Got my package from Australia with Weet-Bix in it!
  • Ate 4 cherry pies from Vie de France - best pie ever!
  • Talked to my parents

There may be more that I don't remember but I have to get my disposable camera developed. Then I'll give you an update.

So today I thought I would have a relaxing day and head over to Comic City at the Tokyo Big Sight. You know, just to browse and have a coffee - holy hell!! I have never seen so many Japanese girls in one place at one time before!

So I thought Super Comic City was like, a place where you got comics, like all kinds of comics, like normal comics, maybe even some English ones. But no. Just doujinshis. 6 halls of guy on guy action. And one BILLION Japanese girls screaming "KAWAIIIIIII!" every 5 seconds. So much for my relaxing day. I did find some interesting stories though. And one girl gave me a free Harry Potter comic just because I was from Australia (I think). Anyway she gave it to me so that was nice. But yeah scary. And there were no guys there but the Japanese girls were still doing their make-up in the bathroom - what for?!
