You know her better than I do.

To my mind, though, it's not always duplicity when that happens. People just don't always tell you everything that's on their minds. And even folks that otherwise like you can have a flare-up of resentment in an emotional moment.

Maybe but there's a difference between holding back little things and hiding that you just really don't like someone. Least ways, there should be.

not really close to but have always gotten along fine before me. kind of a similar bent, she's a hugslut...which worked out fine

This raises a few questions.

Does she not like you, or did she just lash out because she misconstrued your words?

Is this someone you're really close to? If you don't spend much time together, or don't interact very much, why would she go out of her way to let you know that she doesn't like you?
