A dooby gooby doo!

10:17 AM 10/15/09 · Typically when visiting Mom I take the Caltrain to get there. Normally I don't sit down cuz it's really only about 4 stops and 20 minutes, not to mention on the weekend the train is fairly packed to begin with. Plus, I'm really finicky about where I sit. I like to face the opposite direction the train's travelling in, prefer the bigger seats, and upstairs is ideal any day of the year...

...which admittedly is because the view looking down from the window from 10 feet above can be really nice with dipping neck lines and skimpy outfits on women.

Hey, it's me.

So, there was some of that going on this past visit down. I got on the train and spotted an empty seat above and headed on up. Each stop at a train station got me grinning but I found an even better reason to grn, and cause them, as the train was moving.

Window was to my left, to my right was downstairs and between the seats I could see some little kid, older than a baby but not by much, getting fed by his mother. He spotted me a little after I 1st waved and seemed fascinated. The rest of the very short trip I had this kid rolling with laughter through a series of funny faces, expressions, hand puppets, and other amounts of wonky.
At some point his mother was looking around to find out what was causing this, spotted me, and grinned big time too.

Defintely made my day. Babies are great!
