friends in passing
It's great bumping into peoples:
- Ran into
Kendra on the Caltrain home Thursday...which is normally unusual but is becoming a bit more regular. Always a joy to be around, I normally only see her once or twice a week on the way to work and then usually only after I'm off the train and on MUNI; sometimes on the train too though. Lately she's been missing her train home and winds up on mine. So we sit together and chat it up all the way home. We hit the usual run of topics, although we did take an interesting segway to discuss the breasts of both
CJ &
Raven. - Got a surprise call late Thursday night/early Friday morning, as she's nearly impossible to get ahold of these days, from
PePe who's dying. Not actually on her deathbed or anything but she's got a really bad case of the flu and a very busy workload. She was kinda stranded at school, class got out early, and her ride wasn't answering the phone so I kept chatting her up for about a ½ hour. She went from chilly and unhappy to giggly and silly. Eventually she had to go but she was feeling better than when she called. - On the way to work Friday I swung into Quizno's for something to go and spotted a ponytail out of the corner of my eye, Turned too late to see who it was but I was sure I recognized the person anyway. On the way to Caltrain I spotted him, just who I thought but he wasn't responding to his old nickname and it took me a sec to remember his actual one. Eventually he stopped and I chatted with
Dave briefly before heading on, he had to go hit an art store.
