not the overly medicated type

There was an article in the news, blurbs on major news stations, and other such things... 11 or so years ago that the tendency most people have of throwing anti-biotics at every little thing was building up a resistance to the drugs they were taking to fix their little problems. Causing them to need even stronger versions over time.

It was interesting but foreign to me, but I paid attention all the same.

I'm not the kinda guy who throws medication at every little things. Which is why when I woke up with a headache yesterday I treated it the way I normally would: water, protein, heat. Usually this works pretty well, though not so much yesterday. A few hours before I went to bed I was up to a full-fledged migraine.

Part of the reason I didn't pop an Allieve (drug of choice) sooner was the last time I bought them I was a little distracted and instead of my usual type I accidentally got the kind that's good for 12 hours and makes you goto sleep. Which doesn't necessarily mean I'll conk right out, as I've taken it at work, but it does make me VERY prone to being in semi-zombie-mode.

Awake now (can't type in my sleep) and still have a tiny headache but nowhere near as bad. Got some food in me, though the cupboard is now bare, and heading onto work.

Gonna grab a large bottle of water on the way, plus some other stuff.

Ouchie.

diseased, sick
