this is mildly annoying
Normally Friday nights I catch a bus after work to where Mom lives, as the distance between where i work and where i live is so vast that any other w2ay o' getting there...
...by the time I arrived I'd have to turn right around and come back for my next shift.
So, crash at Mom's.
Last week the regular bus driver said it was her last time working that shift. This week was the new driver, and he never showed up. Sure, there's another bus an hour after when he was supposed to be there... but that's the same problem as with the other thing.
Basically I'm on the highly caffinated, not gonna sleep for a full 36 hours, plan.
I've done this before, I can handle it. Just going to be very wired before Sunday. Working graveyard and weekends I'm normally fairly wired but nothing compared to what I'm expecting.
Kinko's has gotten cheaper with their rates, but I can't stay on long. I can afford it but this could be habit forming what with the wired and lack of sleep and stuff.
In other news, early morning snack run to Subway, bought a homeless guy waiting outside a bowl of hot soup.
No reason I can't help others even though shit's being sucky for me.
