(no subject)
Today was my last full day in Prague. I started out by hiking up to the horse monument right near my hostel. I'm not exactly sure what its pointis but its the largest Horse and rider statue in the world. Its mounted in front of large stone blocks so it really stands out and can be seen from most places in the city. I think it was built during communist times, but huge monments like that normally are.
After that I found an Irish bar and watched the Liverpool West Ham match (L'Pool won 2-1) and hiked up the the castle and cathedral and saw all of the city again, but from a differant angle.
During the game's second half I talked with a Canadian and his English friend about almost all sports. It was quite nice.
It rained on and off all day and I didn't have my rain coat. Why? Because I'm an idiot.
I didn't go out last night again because I was talking to this lovely Irish couple about my age until 1:30am. Considering we started at about 8 I think of it as an acomplishment. A crazy Scotsman joined in around 10:30 and he was very, very funny. By the time they went to bed everyone had gone out. I just went to bed.
Since I'm bascially out of dough I'm not going out tonight either. I'm not dissapointed, but I feel like I'm not doing my duty or something. I have enough money to eat, but I need to save paper bills if I can. Exchange places don't take change making it basically worthless. I'll buy some beer with what change I have tonight just to use it up.
Dinner tonight was chicken with feta and vegetables and a place just around the corner. During my meal I watched a terrible Italian movie about a genie or something. Without sound its hard to follow, but it was bad. You can trust me on that.
Tommorow evening at 5 I board my bus back to Amsterdam. I've really enjoyed hanging out in Prague. I may not have gone out, but clubs aren't my scene anyway.
I think I'll play music on the street in Amsterdam. If I'm going to play anyway I might as well earn money for it, even if its next to nothing.
I should be sitting at the music right now. I wonder who's playing.
Some guy is waiting patiently so I must go.
