Hello everyone, this will be my final livejournal entry. I have come to the conclusion, that livejournals, xangas, instant messaging and all those other cyberculture outlets are nothing but a waste of time. This is a time when our generation needs to stand up and fight. When we need to force the ignorant tyrants in power to hear our voice. Yet no one is fighting, because we are all to busy pouring our sad sad lives into the computer, and fooling ourselves into contentment with this mock-catharsis. When you realize the vastness of human suffering and pain that we tolerate and ignore everyday of our lives, what you wore last night, or what pissed you of at school doesn't really matter any more. I know my little rant probably wont have any affect on anyone, but I don't care. 40 years ago, people our age would be rioting in the streets over what our government is doing to the world. I will not be content to let computers and video games and television sooth me into that contented state of lethargy, that seems to be affecting so many people my age. I will not allow my mind to be bogged down by the quagmire of the information age. I don't understand why this stupid devise have entangled so many otherwise intelligent, passionate, and caring people. Someone has to take a stand sometime, and this is mine.
