(Art)I have to get my license soon. I am not looking forward to this. Cars, frankly, terrify me. They are expensive to maintain, annoying to store, bad for the planet, and easy to kill people with. I recognize their necessity in certain situations, such as when you are transporting heavy furniture, but other than that I don't want to touch them

Ha, Dale hates driving to, and if he could, would avoid it at all costs.

On second thought, he does, since I'm the one that does the driving...

The best you can do is buy a eco-friendly car [um well one that doesn't consume as much gas, like a hybrid or a car with high mileage] and be on your defense while on the road. Actually scratch that, you should probably be slightly aggressive if you drive around the city...

Dale hates driving not because he's scared of himself, he knows he can drive fine. Its everyone else on the road. Especially in Chicago...

I had to get a liscense when I was 16. My mom was basically like, here's a car, now go drive your brothers to their activities.

I was also one of the few friends with a car so, Jenny and I were always the drivers. Not to mention out in the suburbs you can't really get anywhere without a car since the only form of public transportation is the pace bus and, well, I hate that bus...
