Unemployment day 1
Well for those of you who do not know, I was laid off from my job yesterday. So after 10 years there I have some free time on my hands and have decided to try and keep a little documentation of my new found freedom while it lasts.
Day 1:
Woke up around 10am to a wonderfully sunny day in SF. Had a HUGE bowl of choco puffs and watched a bit of TV. Around 11:30 my buddy Dan showed up at my place with his baby boy "chewie" for a day of checking out the sights of the city.
We first went to the Exploritorium, which to our dismay was mad with people. So we skipped that and did a bit of walking around the marina. After that we hit one of Dans many secret burger places for lunch, then over to Streetlight Records to view used goodies(nothing bought by me for Im a bit hesitant to spend money yet).
So not much for the first day out, but fun none the less. I have come to believe that SF is a great place to be out of work for a while...
