I'm so excited... And I just can't hide it... And I know... I know... I know... I know............. Ok that's enough of that..
I am so excited about the month of May in general. It's just a good month all around.... Doodle... Wedding... My birthday... Just can't go wrong...
School is going.... Well... Its going. Nothing exciting to report there. Well... Besides that I need to fill my calendar with massage appointments.... So if you are interested... Let me know. You all have my number. I think anyways.... Ask around if not. I think we're almost done learning everything in our massage book. I don't know what we're going to do in class after we finish. I hope just give each other full body massages every week.... Lord that would be fantastic. I doubt that though.
Work is still boring. But they fired a girl on Friday... That was a little bit of excitement. Making fun of 'my boss' is always good for a laugh too. Especially since he thinks I'm kidding. I am very upset, however, that a cat that shall remain evil has chewed on my headphones and only one ear works now...... I had to use the ones that came with my MP3 player... They're alright I suppose... Take some getting used to. I really liked the other ones though. Stupid cat. I don't know how she finds that stuff... It was rolled up under my stack of mail! Anyways... Work is work.
My nights are still generally boring.... Studying the night before a test occasionally happens. There's only so much on TV.... Myspace is my current time consumer. Along with the stack of books I got from the library a couple weekends ago. I'm not very good at picking out books though... They've been alright. Nothing spectacular though. I've been tempted to read The Vampire Chronicles again cuz a girl in class mentioned them last week and the thought sounded intriguing. Especially since I was in high school the last time I read them. I am so ready for the last book of the Earth's Children to come out.... But that probably won't be for another 10 years. Harry Potter too........ Stupid writers taking forever. I was tempted over the weekend to read The Great Gatsby again... But I think once I start it I'll still be able to recite it from reading it so many times for my paper. (The only English paper I got an A on.... AND gave me an A in the class....... Oh... I love that paper.)
I cleaned out a bunch of crap from my room at home. That was fun let me tell you....... There's a bunch more that needs to be tossed... But I'm a closet case packrat so its hard to get rid of it. I have movie ticket stubs from high school..... Yes. T-shirts I'll never wear again... But are still in my dresser cuz there is some random memory tied to them. I should put them in a box somewhere....... I have all the stickers I got on my tests and quizzes from algebra II!! Anyways... Enough of me making myself sound like a loser.
I've been working on my posture.... Massage class will do that to you I guess... I've always been aware of my poor posture... But never had the motivation to do anything about it. I also have every intention of starting to workout again. My pants are tight and while... My ass looks better bigger.... My stomach doesn't. So... I just need to do something about that. And I can't go up 3 flights of stairs without wanting to stop 3/4 the way up for a breather. Sadness..... I used to be fit. Why does riding horses have to be so damn expensive?!?! I'd so be riding every day if I could afford it. Its depressing to think that I haven't ridden in a year and a half. No wonder I'm flabby.... All the muscle I used to have has been replaced by fat deposits.
OHH!!! Happy note..... I bought my dress for the wedding. Butthead picked it out. Scary I know... But its really cute. I'm not good at describing... but its a halter type top and a funky cut at the bottom... Black and white. With cool angles in the fabric design.... You'll just have to wait and see. I just have to figure out what I'm doing in the hair and make-up department. I decided today that I'm dying my hair blonde again after the wedding. Maybe even perhaps before.... It will make me look more tan. And that would be a good thing because I'm rather pasty this year. As soon as it is warm enough... I'm going to lay out... But that... For me... Is like 80... So I have another couple weeks before that is a constant.
Another happy note.... It is almost time to get the boat out!!! Mom and Dad don't think that Matt and Simon will get in the water... But I tried to tell them that the Brits are used to chilled water. And I have a wetsuit... So I'm totally starting the ski season early. I bet Butthead will too. He won't let me show him up.
Wow. This is actually kinda like a real journal entry. I haven't had one of those in a long time. I suppose I should go and continue to be productive... I need to fill in my planner so I know when and when not to schedule appointments and what not. And I have some reading that I should do... But I think that will be lucky if I get to it before I decide to go to bed. =)
