Teamwork

Tonight's lesson began with Furbaby digging a wide and shallow demonstration hole.
She then managed to get three of the four pups digging from the hole she started.
The fourth pup was frolicking in the grass, and really isn't serious about his work.

After they were exhausted and needing a break, she took them on a tour of some of her finer holes.
Ya'll remember this pic?

It was almost cute back then, and even this pic is several months old and doesn't begin to represent the damage. The landscaper gets here with the bob-cat on Tuesday. I hope they have our new retention wall finished by Thursday. Then we can kiss 3 grand good bye. So yeah- no more dogs, ever.

Having to give up the pups has made me an even bigger supporter of abortion rights (and puts me in complete awe of the strength it takes to put a baby up for adoption).
Someone lacking the emotional maturity to put their kid's best interest before their own does not make the best parent, and it's very easy to love something after you've cared for it. I have to remind myself that I could not handle four adult and digging jack russells.
