Hey Friends

Sep 07, 2009 15:01

To all our Friends and Family,

I want to announce that my very talented partner in crime and
I have partnered up in a new business venture that we have been
concepting over the past month.

We launched our site: www.ikernedyourmom.com this past week, and we
are currently working on minor tweeks/bugs and brainstorming on what
our next steps will be moving into stage two of the design and
development process of our new site. We are pretty excited about it!

I realize some of you are probably thinking "what the hell is
Ikernedyourmom?" Well... for any non-design friends of ours out there,
Kern is a Typography term used frequently by designers.. A very anal
retentive term to be exact... Also, a term of obsession used often by
my co-partner. ;-) The rest is to portray that we want
to be loud in a world that keeps trying to silence us.
Also, that we have a sense of humor... (Just sayin')

The overall concept behind this site is to obviously grow in the
design and artist community. We inspire each other, and built this
site with hopes of inspiring others. Also, to display some of our
work, open doors of communication within the design/art communities through
blogs, social networking, expanding our design base, welcome new
contacts, incorporating new ideas, and to pull in new clients that
will give us a little more artistic
freedom then is allowed in corporate america. In about 30 days I am
going to market the f* out of this thing. It will be all over the
internet, and we will be trafficking it... With hopes of its success.

As you being out family, friends, and our support group.. we need your insight.
If you love it. Let us know. If you hate it, we probably know where
you live. But, in all seriousness we really do want your honest
opinion. It can make our site better, and
introduce us to any new ideas that you all might have. No idea is a
bad idea. Plus, we would love
for you to join our networking community. We are working on RSS feeds
to keep our users entertained and updated
as we speak!

(Oh, the anticipation of hitting send on this email)

Hope this finds you well,

Nikki Wolfe and Brandy Smith
