Ive become a rooster!
Ive been raising a flock of chicks from birth for about 6 months now! They're attacking me for dominance as they get older, because as I just read, apparently, they think Im one of them! LOL... Roosters are aggressive for 3 main reasons; they're fighting over who gets to fuck the hens, theyre protecting the hens, or theyre fighting for dominance among the flock, which this article told me they consider me a part of! It said, yes, they know Im the biggest and strongest member of the flock, but its in their nature to fight me for that position! Aww. I love all those chickens and roosters. Theyre truly the most entertaining pets Ive ever had! The biggest tallest rooster is my fave. I even named him Spot! But Ive always liked him because he has always been really tame around me and he protects the hens from all the other roosters trying to mate with them and damn near killing them in the process! It was just sort of my luck that he turned out to be the biggest! I swear, hes every bit of 2 and a half feet tall! He's hillarious!
