This article seriously breaks me. I know that Fall Out Boy is not everyone's cup of tea, but for the amount of backlash that Patrick has received, both towards the end of the last FOB album and through his own solo tour, it's just so fucked up. This guy is such an incredibly talented musician, and just a generally awesome individual, that it just pisses me off that people heap this abuse on him. Of course, it is the few loud and obnoxious assholes who are heard over the loving adoration of his true fans, but still. For him to have been so affected by the critical morons that he felt he needed to write this article is just heartbreaking. He deserves a hell of a lot more respect than he gets and fuck everyone who talks shit because they cannot do what he does. I love him, and hope he understands that there are so many of us out there that support him and adore him and cannot wait for his next endeavor.
