adapting
So I've been in the US now over four years and every so often I notice a Canadian habit that I can't seem to adapt. This one is about money. Whenever I open my wallet to pay for something I always have a moment of pure confusion. how much cash do I have? Everything is the same colour!!!. Canadian money is easy to find. at a glance you can quickly figure out where the fives and twenties are. I'm always at the cashier fumbling with my wallet, pulling out my wad and fumbling some more while the folks behind me are impatiently waiting to pay.
