having a rotten day today. Just gloomy, one of those days. Work was awful yesterday and even my co-worker agrees that things have gotten out of hand. They either need to get more staff or offer some help. We are only two people and they are expecting us to take care of all the departments all day long. They are running us ragged and I am tired of it. If I wasn't stuck there I'd quit as soon as possible. Which leads me to my new "morning shift", if it can even be called that. Tomorrow I am working 3-10 which is pretty much a rotten shift because I will be all by myself again. I hate it. Customers are morons and I am tired of them giving me hell. So last night after my great day of work I dropped my mp3 player on the floor (accident) and it's fried. We have to buy a new hard drive for it which costs too much, the thing will never get fixed or if it does it's going to be awhile. Sucks because my discman has been missing forever. I need it for my upcoming road trips. I'm so bummed and will be lost without it. I listened to it all of the time, it had everything on it. Listening to cds on the stereo is too much of a hastle if you ask me. I guess it's ok with a five disc changer, but I'd much rather leave the discs in their cases on the shelf where they are safe and out of the hands of a rambunctious two year old. On top of that my head hurts, and I'm hungry. I'm waiting for Eric to get home so I can go over to Cherie's for a little while. I haven't been over there in forever, she's got a bunch of computer games we can play that don't work on our computer (because that is also pretty much "fried", in theory) What I really want to do is take a walk but I can't do that because maintenance is supposed to come over to fix our air conditioner, AGAIN. Eric called them two and a half hours ago....I'm sure they would have been here by now. But it's best to stick around anyway, they aren't exactly known for their on the dot timing. We still haven't done one single fun thing this summer. We either don't have the money or the time, or the babysitter. But with Iron Maiden and Alice In Chains concerts coming up, I've got something to look foward to, FINALLY. Even if we are broke because of it, it's alllll good.
