(no subject)
So after much deliberation I think that I am going to start actually posting in here. Hope to update at least once a week if not more. Can some one explain how to do a LJ cut so I can post some pics??? I will post more for sure once I know how to do that. Herrlip and Betty, are you still planning on going to Amsterdam some time??? I and a few of my friends would like to start planning for fall of 2005 or 2006. My friend Tim has already been there and knows all the awesome haunts, so we for sure will have a good time. Let me know if that is still an option or not. I am doing well and the fat man in red treated my family very well. The influence of hip-hop at the schools is starting to affect my oldest. He wears camo pants and wife beaters all the time. He got boxers for x-mas and now to get him to wear a belt is out of the question. He keeps saying, "but dad it is in style now. You don't want me to not be in style do you??" I told him style is something that HE chooses, not what he sees on tv or at school. He understood and asked me what I wanted him to wear. LOL As for my youngest, oh my. He is just like his mother. Grins. Yesterday the little man is walking in front of me after we got out of the car, he gets to the door that goes int our place and steps aside and sweeps his arm infront of me and says with a straight face, "Ladies first." I almost busted a gut. I gave him some shit and then he looks up at me with a grin on his face and says "Nice outfit, did your husband buy you that?" Then he bursts with laughter and runs away. How can I not laugh myself. I am amazed at how much those 2 little guys make me laugh. Getting them to go to bed is starting to be a real chore. They just want to sit and chat with me until I go to bed. If I am awake then they are. It is nice that we talk so much but Dori get all pissy about it cuz I am spending so much time with them. Is that not what you are supposed to do with your kids?? Am I in the wrong here?? We play games and talk and watch tv or movies together. I try to take Hank(my oldest) with me everywhere. Little man Nick, gets mad but is fine 5 min after we leave. Soon Nick will be able to go with us everywhere, but is hard to get my wife to leave the house unless she HAS to. OK question for all who read this; my wife stays at home, no job, the house is always a mess, and she yells at me cuz we are virtually broke and the house is a mess. What is a tactful way to tell her to clean the house??? I made a list that had clean this room or that one for 15-20 min a day and then it doesnt het out of hand. That was 2 weeks ago and still nothing. I am getting tired of working 2 jobs. Any suggestions?? By the way my wife is deaf and has an accounting degree, so she feels that it is too hard for her to get a job. I think that she just doesnt want to try, but that is just me.
