Watching the news is so depressing lately. CBS news mentioned China's one child policy today while covering the earthquake. I hadn't even considered that. Those poor families who were only allowed one child and now that child is dead. It brings a new dimension to the suffering. At least today's news is tempered with the positive. With all of the suffering going on out there it is nice to know that same sex couples in California who have been waiting for the right to marry for years can now legally do so. At least until November. People deserve happiness.
