Someone ran into my Beemer and left a huge dent in the trunk. I'd love to know who did it so that I could have the collision covered by my no-fault insurance (as I don't have any comprehensive coverage). If I were the owner of that Mercedes, I would be all over that vandal in an attempt to not make the repair out of my own pocket. (I'm guessing they probably have comprehensive coverage, but maybe not)
I guess I'll have to seize my hammer, tongs and blowtorch.
Now here's a question: If she had instead written a note on a sticky label and applied that to the door of the vehicle, would she still be guilty of property destruction?
I think she wouldn't because she isn't actually writing, painting or drawing directly on the car. What do you think?
