So many things to mention... but so tired!
I've got to at least mention the Sox-M's game tonight... I ended up getting a great seat off of a scalper ($30 for a $50 ticket... low demand rules!), and Garland pitched a hell of a game. Marte let it get far too close for my taste, but Koch managed to nail it down... exciting stuff! I'm not sure I've seen the Sox hold a close lead against the M's before, definitely something novel.
The "Seattle Fans are Lame" items of the evening: there was a woman behind me who was cheering every ball and strike. I mean, every one. Come on! Going to a 2-0 count when you're down by three in the 7th with two outs and nobody on base is Not a reason to cheer for anything. I wonder if this is just a difference between Sox fans and other fans, though. If Hasegawa pitches a 1-2-3 inning, Seattle fans'll be like, "All right, good job Shiggy!" If Billy Koch pitches a 1-2-3 inning, my main thought is, "Holy crap, that's a fucking miracle."
Anyway.... sleepy time for me. Looking forward to tomorrow: Go Flames!
