Randomness
-The Police helicopter was hovering over my house for a good hour or two last night, from the direction of their massive shiney light beam it looked like they were tracking someone in the gardens behind the houses across the road from me. I kept expecting drama and cop cars and crims emerging from bushes for a chase down the street a la Poilce Camera Action....but alas, fuck all happened. That and I was in a vague state of undress in front of the window while I watched and I'm sure that's probably a reasonably arrestable offence as well :D
-been off work for a couple of weeks to discover that life only really moves on when you're there. If you're not present at the time how do you know it's really moved on at all?
-Was in Blackpool for a few days while off and saw something truly harrowing. A man poured a can of petrol over his head on the beach and set himself on fire...J and I only really caught the tail end of it all but the sight of him lying in a pool of water while still alight is something that has seriously rarely left my mind in the last week. fucking awful.
-Speaking of Blackpool, there are now waaaaay too many Poles working in this country...it's all very well when they're scoring or saving goals for the mighty Hoops, not so great when they're getting your order wrong in restaurants.
-Scotland are top of their Euro-qualifier group....how the feck did that happen??!?! Mon the Kenny Miller!!
-I've got a really weird shaped head and I've never noticed it. There's like a seriously bizarre bump at the back that I dont think I've had before. Is seismic shifting of the skull possible?!
