So….interesting news: I got into a wreck with 4 other cars last night! Yeah. I was leaving Dustin and Tim’s place with Melissa, Joshua, Kayla, and Dustin. We were heading over to Rose just to hang out since Tim and Jason won’t turn the A/C on at their place. I was actually riding in the back seat because I wasn’t feeling well, so Melissa was ( Read more... )

Pop's shop at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and University blvd east(5 points, there's a winn-dixie, a mcdonnalds, a wendy's, a CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreens on that corner too) did great work on my beetle when some guy hit me. Can't even tell there was previous damage. There's a Hurtz rental place within walking distance of the shop too, that took good care of me.

Glad everyone is fairly ok. If anyone needs medical attention because of injuries sustained,it might be of benefit to see a doctor and claim it against the person's insurance. I don't mean try to take them to the cleaners, but if those pains don't go away, get medical help. Their insurance will cover it.

There shouldn't be a problem with getting your insurance to cover it (because you weren't driving your car. Your friend driving the car is not on your insurance policy, therefore you probably won't get your insurance company to pay for a thing since she isn't insured on your car if it was noted in the police report that you were not the one driving. It's never a good idea to have someone other than yourself drive your vehicle). The person's who hit you guys insurance should have to take care of everything. Is the car still drivable, or are you having to get a rental until you can get it to a shop?

Yeah, my car is drivable, but my mom doesn't want me to drive it until I get it fixed. So, I'll just be bumming rides until then. And yeah, I usually don't get people to drive my car, but boy was I cramping like crazy. And me and Kayla ALWAYS wear our seatbelts....except for that night. Yeah, I know better now...no matter how short the drive's gonna be, always plan for the worst.
