You know what I don't like about my job? Shelf reading. Pretty much you walk through the shelves, making sure everything is in alphebetical or Dewey Decimal order. I really hate the alphebet right now. I did all of biographies, sci fi and young adult yesterday. I would so rather be shelving, but for some reason there's a volunteer shelver on Saturdays. Jewel says it's better in the winter because you get a lunch break (an hour) and to man the desk for two hours while the librarians alternate lunches.
After the incredibly hot library (hey, those foot thick stone walls will be *great* for keeping the heat in in the winter!), Dad, Rose, Ryan and I went kayaking and swimming, which was great. After a delicious dinner, Ryan and I went to see Pirates (me again, him for the first time). I did like it better the second time.
I keep feeling like I should be doing something -- homework, or my journal from camp, but NO! I am obligationless! Huzzah! And 11 days until GenCon! Woo!
PS any TWoP members should go vote in the Tubey Awards.
