So I found this awesome website called 99designs.com that matches graphic designers with people who need logo designs or whatever. Anyway, we're having a contest for the project I work on. We're an energy efficiency cooperative, so the main themes we want to get across in this logo are community, energy efficiency, grassroots (not corporate), and

I like 88 and 106.

I like 88, 112, 148, and 142/141/139/138 - I can't quite tell the difference between them.

Personally I think 137 looks like a corporate logo.

#149/#150 are winners, imo

I am lazy. I like #149, a lot. The people makes me think of diversity (socioeconomic, POC) and community, the shape reminds me of ye olde atom diagram and hence energy, but people energy not fission! Also the people shapes remind me of those tag things you put in the garden to label your plants, so obviously also grassroots. It very clearly conveys or suggests what the group is about.

I should not be this enthusiastic about a prospective logo, but I am!

The only minor minor quibble, which I suppose isn't really, is that none of the people have breasts and so look all generically male. If there were someway to even vaguely hint that a few of the figures in #149/150 were of the XX persuasion, it would be perfect.

ETA: Maybe it is OK about the ladies. I don't know.

PS I hope that as people add more logos the numbers are stable lest we think we're talking about the same ones, but not.
