Whew for real

I finished all my papers! They weren't awesome, but whatever. I can rewrite the history one, at least. I had a great time hanging out with my mom, which was really nice.

I discovered that shelf reading in Library of Congress system is somehow even MORE boring than shelf reading Dewey Decimal. HOLY CRAP. SO BORING.

I've watched 2/3s of a season of Alias in the past two weeks. It's not good for me; it brings out my crazy fangirlness. I don't think I'm going to be able to watch Season 3 with the girl I'm watching with. Well, in all reality, I'll watch it but I'll do a whole lot of complaining. Also, I don't own it and categorically refuse to buy it. I wonder if the media center has it. Probably not. Also, DAVID ANDERS I LOVE YOU. SO MUCH. PS Heroes this week was awesome and I'm loving this season minus the Wonder Twins who are a black hole of boringness (kind of like Mohinder last season except they aren't as pretty). I'm a little worried about some things I've heard about Tim Kring being forced to change the plotlines to accommodate the writers' strike. On the other hand, I'm totally into the writers' strike. It's like my new fandom, as swsa put it. Nothing like a good old case of the little creative guy versus the big ol' corporate baddie (now with unions!) to get me all riled up. The videos the writers keep putting up on YouTube aren't hurting. Carlton Cuse cracks me up; apparently he's carrying around a sign that says "Do you want to know where the island is?"

Oh, speaking of fine old American traditions, I voted! It was very exciting, even though there were only two things to vote for. The candidates for school board came in and talked to our Democratic club and were generally really cool, so I felt like I knew enough about the issues to justify my vote.

So that's pretty much what's up with me.
