the truth can never be denied only covered...
Boy i have no clue where my title for all of this crap comes from...i think i saw that on on a sticker once, or maybe a magnet, or maybe i made it up and my mind is playing tricks on me again. I have decided to switch between myspace and here from time to time to keep some of those m.f.s on their toes as to where i will be posting my thoughts. And my most recent drunken/tired ramblings about HST and the movie Where the Buffalo Roam (good movie, read the blog to find out my exact thoughts after watching the movie) were on myspace so these ramblings (tho not drunken or tired) will go here right now. I have just come back from the desert palm dinner theater, tho today it was luncheon theater but whatever. I went with my parents and their car club to see a splendid little show i have seen once before.
Tho that was some time ago and in a completely different place.
It was Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story. And damn did they do a good job with it. Everyone worked so well together, and the musicians/actors kicked so much ass on stage!! That and the audience was really good: A retirement home, a 60th birthday, and the classic car club. Good crowd, some of the people where talking after about how they remember when all of this actually happend, and how this guy reminded them so much of how he (Buddy Holly) really was. So that's impressive. It is a small dinner (luncheon) theater so even tho we sat in the back it was still an incredibly entertaining show. The entire audience was on their feet for the final preformance (the snow dance show or whatever that was) So really cool...whee. And the sets were good. I like this place, they seem to do a good job all the time. That last sentence was not structured right, i don't know how but it looks really wrong when i reread it. Then again most of my work looks wrong...most of the time it IS wrong, so eh...
But yeah...i really have nothing to say at this time...school is now over for the summer, hopefully one more year and then voila it will be over. Took me long enough. damn degree...
