Halo Director Announced
Neill Blomkamp has been announced as the Halo movie director. No, I hadn't heard of him either. He's a South African director who has done several commercials and short films. Turns out, I may not know his name, but I've seen his work:

All those robots in real life videos that have been passed around the web the past couple years? Neill did 'em. He's certainly got the CGI meshed with real footage aspect of the Halo movie down. Working with WETA the movie should look great. As for the story? *shrug*
