well my gramps is doing ok. he seems to be getting daily visits from the PT. which is good but his hand is still tensing and what not. now i have 2 dipshits to add to my list of idiots at the hospital. i have coined one as dipshit the other as numbnuts.
dipshit is the female nurse that is baiscally in charge of gramps care. she changes his bandages and agrivates his trach so all he does is cough and gasp. which is ok because it is not not entirely her fault. BUT the reason i call her dip shit is for 2 reasons. first off she got into an arguement with me over something being steril. i fucking know when something is steril cause i AM becoming a nurse and i love watching doctor/vet shows. when something is NOT in its steril package and sitting at the foot of the fucking bed. IT IS NOT STERIL and she sat there trying to agrue with me telling ME that is was. just because it just came out of the package and was set on the bed for a few second. the thing that was sitting on the bed was the thing that they put into his trach to suction out the mucus. he got staff infection from someone doing that about a year ago. and ths dipshit was trying to tell me that it was still steril after it had been placed on the foot of his bed for..god knows how long cause she didn't know. as soon as it touches the bed it is NOT steril. so i was like. fine and just threw it out after she left. i barried it in the trash so they couldn't see it. the second reason i don't like her is because she lied to me. she told me and my gram that he had been sitting up earlier one day and we talked to another nurse who brought his chair to sit up in and she said he HADN'T been sitting up all day (which they are supposed to do every freaking day)
now for numbnuts. this guy is one of those amusing fucks. he is the ST(speech therapist). i am not sure if i mentioned him going in yet. well here is from the beginning with him. he came in on monday and it seems he had seem gramps. he wouldn't give the ok because my gramps "failed" the test. he said that he "went over to his right side talked to him and didn't get a response so he felt that it would endanger gramps if he was on the talking valve". if they can disconnect the fucking ventelator for a few minuets while they hook up other hoses to it. he can fucking talk especially if he is trying to while he is on the fucking ventilator. he got all pissy with my gram because she dared question his judgement on it. because most idiots that go in and see him talk on the left side(his deaf side) or they don't take into consideration they might have just gone through pysical therapy. what dip shits.
muhahah it seems like i must have some reason to be bored and do this. yes i should be doing spanish homework but that is boring.
