1. Danse Macabre by Laurell K Hamilton
2. The Harlequin by Laurell K Hamilton
This one was so good! All the action & plot & sex & interesting characters all brought back, and I loved it!
3. Blood Noir by Laurell K Hamilton
Not as good as the last one. I was a little disappointed after how awesome the last one was. Looking forward to the next book coming out soon, though.
4. He's Just Not That Into You by Greg Behrendt
Nothing new, but a good reminder, and pretty freaking funny. Will keep this one on the shelves to reread once a year or after a breakup or something. Sadly, this book made me realize that I'm frequently the asshole who just isn't that into the the guy & doesn't treat them very well. =/
5. The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Still that writing that draws you in, but not as high school as the Twilight series. Still a little preachy about sex & all that good stuff, but more focused on the miracle of life this time. I'm a little sick of her main characters, though - could she please try writing a book about someone who isn't a sacrificial saint who never does any wrong but never thinks highly enough of herself to realize she's perfect? *rolls eyes*
I think that's all right now. In the middle of three books right now, as per usual, but at least I'm beating my "one per month" rule.
