Not exactly perfect timing on that one for me. I've got ten books on my desk in front of me - all equally close that I've been cataloging tonight. Which one do you want me to read from? lol

John Sandford Heat Lightning
William G. Tapply Hell Bent
Jack O'Brien Silver Chief's Revenge
Tamora Pierce Melting Stones
Janine Cross Forged by Fire
Peter David Darkness of the Light
Jocelynn Drake Nightwalker
Charlaine Harris All Together Dead
Sherwood Smith The Fox
Jeanne C. Stein Legacy

It's quite a variety, huh? Just about everything but science fiction this trip!
Nightwalker & Legacy are both vampire novels, as is, and you're familiar with, All Together Dead!

BTW, that didn't look like two to five sentences from your book ! ! ☺ hahaha

Hahah, I would have just picked the book on the top of the pile! ;)

Damnit, you're right! I totally wasn't paying attention to the instructions. =(

Therein lied my problem: they were all in a row, not stacked up! *grin*

If at first you don't succeed,
do it the way your wife told you to.
Whoops, I mean, then read the instructions! lol

Page 56 was blank in Hell Bent, the book I started first, so I doubled it!
"Gus apparently shot himself." "Apparently?" I shrugged. "That poor, tortured soul," said Croyden.

Literally? Diaries & journals! lol

Some of William Tapply's do, but not others. Maybe it's Minotaur Publishing's format but Chapters always begin on odd numbered pages so if the chapter also ends on an odd number the next page is blank.
Oh, and it's a mystery book. *grin*
