There is a booth there that sells local honey, as well as lip & body moisturizer. I bought some lip gloss in watermelon for $1.25! I can't read the email address on the sticker, but it tastes yummy & the lady seemed super excited to be selling one, so you should go buy more from her. =)
Grabbed breakfast from the Living Arts Bakery. The dough was a little salty (maybe that's the spelt flour?) for me, but the filling was really good. For $4 I'll probably skip this particular pasty in the future, but I've had they're pizza things before and they are incredible.
I also bought a basket of zucchini for $2 - five good sized zucchini that should feed me for a couple days!
They had lots of melons out there - saw watermelons for $5, plus snow leopard melon, orange honeydew, and canteloupe all starting at $1 each. I bought a small savor melon to try - I of course picked out the one in the middle that still had its cute curly greenery. lol
I also bought a 16oz jar of Buddha's Brew Cranberry
Kombucha Tea for $3. VERY strong taste, but it's kind of like apple cider when you get used to it, and is supposed to be really really good for you. Would love to find a Kombucha culture to brew my own.
I made one big splurge on spices since the guy took checks. I got a jar of Za'atar Saltburst (supposedly good in rice), a jar of Orange Saltburst (which I'm looking forward to using on my seafood), and a jar of Garlic Saltburst (because garlic goes with everything) for $15.
http://www.spiceburst.com Next weekend I want to bring enough money to buy my eggs and meat there, too. Farm meat! From real farms, with grass fed free range animals! I saw chicken, lamb, and beef at the very least. Next time I'll check all the meat vendors more carefully.
Also want to check out Deli Bento - They had a booth there & offer sushi lessons, which I'm really interested in doing.
