I don't like waiting

And in certain cases I don't like surprises.
Last weekend Chris showed up unannounced again while Ben was out with his girlfriend and while I was in the backyard doing yard work. From what I heard from Ben she had the gall to bitch about this on his voice mail when she knows that she is suppose to call in advance so we know she's coming. This really pissed me off, so much so that I quickly hauled away the rest of her things in a matter of 2-3 days (making my hw second priority for the time being), sold everything but the two couches, and gathered up her family photos/yearbook tossed them in a garbage bag with her name on it to sit on the stoop to wait for her next untimely visit.

And so I wait...

Figures that when I am ready for her she won't show.

I don't believe any of her excuses as to why she had not been able to come get her shit, except for maybe the one about being in jail, and I can't understand how or why she would leave so much stuff behind. Seriously, you could have filled an apartment with her stuff and had almost everything needed to live comfortably. Not to mention the mementos and other personal belongings. It's mind boggling really.

And on another note I'm seriously starting to think I have a sixth sense. Something slightly above instinct. There have been quite a few occurrences preceding a Chris-event that have given me a heads up and avoided disaster. Usually in the form of a dream that really sticks with me when I wake up (I usually don't remember anything). I think the most notable one was last weekend, I was going to have a garage sale, but changed my mind last minute because something just didn't feel right about it and convinced myself that the weather was going to be bad (I also feared that she would show up right in the middle of me selling something of hers) and guess what? It rained Friday, but it was an absolutely beautiful weekend and she showed up at 1:30pm on Saturday, which would have been at the peak time of a garage sale.
