Year in review, '09. Overall? Good. Definitely with its challenges.

There was the start of the year with the CPAP stuff, where I learned that you're supposed to breathe while you're sleeping. Who knew? Gave up wheat. And then come to find out, oh my health sucks because you're pushing diabetes. Still fighting that fight, and I think I'm doing okay, working towards better.

Made amazing friends this year. Amazing. I can't put into words how good this has been for me.

Also have a lot of friends out there having a really tough time, with the economy, health and life. Hang in there, all of you. If I can do it, you can do it. We're all there for each other, yah? Let's do this together.

Now? Heading in to 2010 with prospects of a new promotion. Scared as hell. It's a great step, a good move, but I definitely have the jitters into moving away from well-practiced and predictable. Also have the constant health battle, and need to double my efforts. But, as I was told today, hiding under a rock will slowly crush you. Gotta get out from under that.

I also have a few side project spheres I want to tackle, some of them already to a decent start. The tech lair, foodstuffs, church, life and home, gaming things. Also, there will be a trip to Europe in June with my mom down the Danube. All good things, all in abundance. Embrace it, love it.

Now I gotta get my car scheduled for the shop, get stuff for Chinese food and have some folks over for NYE!

Happy New Year, everyone.
