(no subject)
The state of Andi... is fairly well.
Today was the last session of the Dragon Blooded campaign. It went well, Creation was... saved? We asked the gods nicely if they could suck it to save reality, and they did. I became David Bowie and we rocked out completely for a creation-spanning prayer to the gods to come to our aid. You had to be there. (BTW, Thanks "Flight of the Conchords" for my terrible Bowie impression.) I had a good time playing with Jeremy and the group, and I hope we have a chance to all play together again. I decided to sit out of the Vampire game, due to wanting to spend time on other things, as well that I don't really have an interest in playing an angsty dead thing. I DO hope however to be able to voice once in a while and maybe add some NPC goodness to Dawn's mix.
Otherwise, things have been alright. This was a pretty laid-back weekend. Got to see "Surrogates"... which was alright, but I ended up liking "Gamer" in comparison. Not going to go into the details... well, maybe in some other post.
I'm also at a month being on the diabetes meds. It's been okay. I got a cold about a week ago, which set me back as far as my energy levels and progress in doing the exercise thing. I now have alarms set to remember to take said meds, because DAMN I'm forgetful. I really want my body to feel normal, to get to some place where I'm comfortable with my skin. Like I told a friend, I feel like I'm in a clumsy dance with myself, and can't seem to quite find the right steps. Some days it works, sometimes not.
Alright, just a bit more TV, and then to bed. Early start tomorrow.
