I love e-bay :D
I had bought a talking book awhile ago for $4 something. I sent the seller a 5 dollar bill, and they actually sent me back change! Yay!
Anyways, the talking book is The Short History of a Prince by Jane Hamilton, read by Robert Sean Leonard *SOJ* He had done a TB by that same author that I enjoyed very much. Looking forward to starting this as soon as I get on Astonia. *hopes no one talks to me there*
Also, at the library, someone had like 12 bags of books they were donating! We could only take about 6 of them. I wanted to pout because I love looking through them and I get first dibbs, hehee. Might have been a good thing because I have to haul them upstairs. A lot of the books were old and smelly, but I had a feeling I might find something I was looking for--and I was right! I found Walden by Thoreau! (FYI the quote was from the book in Dead Poets Society). I had wanted to get that book from the library, but we didn't have a copy of it. So yay! Got the same feeling when someone gave us a ton of movies and I found Dead Poets Society lol. And, funny thing is, before I had wondered if I would find DPS in the movies, and this time I had wondered if I would find Walden! *giggles* I don't care if I am the only one amused by this!
News is a bit slow here...got paid yesterday, so I finally have some cash. I want to buy OC Season 2, but I want to have more than 30 bucks to last me the month...*growls at Mom for taking most of my paycheck.* At least she leaves my half-month check alone since I need the whole thing for my car payment.
I wrote 3 pages--handwritten--of my new House fic! I haven't had a writing streak like that in almost a year! Part one is up a few posts back, go see! Part 2 coming...um...when I am less lazy and feel like posting it :P
I have more to say, but I want to hurry and get to my talking book :D
