Martin shivered as he stood on the other side of the bathroom door, listening to Edmond argue with the girl he had just been shagging. A cold shower no longer appealed and crossing Edmond at this time might be a death wish, so Martin started up a normal shower. At least he would be warm while he waited for things to cool down.

His toes, fingers, and ears stung as they warmed up under the water and the line of tension down his back eased. He was still half hard from earlier, but there was no way he was going to turn the water to cold now. He just needed to keep his thoughts neutral. Then it would be okay. He closed his eyes and rested his forehead against the steamy shower tiles, letting the water run down his back.

The small bit of satisfaction Martin had felt at slamming the door on his housemate’s relationship now left him feeling incredibly lonely. He deserved something for a change, even if it was the touch of his own hand and a few moments of forgetting.

He touched the side of his face with the back of his fingers, leaning into his touch. He tilted his head back, letting his fingers drift down the column of his throat, and he groaned as his nails scratched roughly over one of his nipples.

The heat from the shower began to make Martin feel light-headed as his hand travelled lower, thumb circling his navel.

“Please,” Martin whispered. “Oh, God.” He gasped as his hand closed around his cock, tugging lightly, thumb brushing over the crown. His knees felt weak. So close. The pace quickened, became more urgent, more tight. “Douglas!” he cried, losing himself, shooting against the side of the shower, barely able to stand the aftershocks that wracked through his body.

When he realised what he’d said, Martin sank to his knees. His hand shook as he switched the water to cold.
