I am so attached to Cas right now. My heart is full to bursting at the thought of him being human. Though I did tell my mom last night that I'd rather he die than turn into future!Cas from that one episode. :/
One of the many things I loved about the scene with Crowley telling Bobby he'd added a subclause to his deal was it letting us know that Bobby had not asked to be able to walk again. That was selfless, quietly heroic thing to have done.
What Cas said about there still being a speck of angel in him gives me hope that he might find a way to at least partially recharge his batteries.
I keep hearing people say that angels should have no part in the next season. So if Cas never goes back, that is more points to him actually surviving the apocalypse so that he is around for the next season. He is an awesome angel, but the last ep proved that he can be an awesome human as well lol :D
