Isn't it fun when you are reading first time smut, filled with UST, and your mind wanders a bit. Then, when you come to, you realize you are still reading and the characters are rolling around in the bed and you have no idea how they got there? Yeah.
Okay...time for a real update I guess. Was just going to post that first paragraph up there *points* but figured 'what the hell.'
Brother, Jeff, is visiting from Japan. Touched in a few weeks ago. And I can't say anything bad about him because he reads this journal. *waves at brother*
See what I have to put up with?
I saw the HP movie opening weekend with Dad, then the next weekend with my brother, then once more with a friend. Yes, I liked it. I think it is my favorite movie. There were no parts that I was bored through at all (except the kiss....I swear, het is nasty!).
Also saw Ratatouille with Mom and Jeff. Very cute. It didn't stay in theaters long, so saw the day before it was moved out.
On Monday I went to see I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry with Aunt Trish. I had been planning to go by myself, but she wanted to do something for my bday (had been meaning to for awhile since June) so we went together. It wasn't as bad as I was fearing (extra uptight since she was there). The worst joke, actually, was towards this fat person. Lot of gay jokes, of course, but not too bad. There were a few kisses, but not between the lead actors, which was disappointing. There was a drop the soap joke (where two soaps were dropped), etc. I enjoyed it. Not really sure if Trish did or not. Her and my Uncle had just moved down here a little while ago, so they live just a few minutes away--used to live a few hours.
Was a picnic last week down in Oregon at one of my other aunt's house's I took Peacock (laptop) with me since I hate to socialize more than neccessary, and watched an episode of Torchwood with Jeff on the way down. He stayed there to ping around with his friends who live there for a week or so. He is supposed to be back around Monday.
This morning I had an interview for a Sub level 2. If I can get that position, I can finally get the computer training I need to advance from Page. Would be nice. Desperately need the money as well. I think that the interview went well.
Alsoooo. The American Idol tour was in Tacoma (only an hour or so away) this last friday. I really wanted to go to it, but yeah, lack of money and someone to drag with me. From what I've seen on youtube, it looked to be one of the better nights.
