I was feeling adventureous last week, so I checked out the MASH movie (not GFA) from the library.
Today I finally finished it--relunctantly because I have to take it back tomorrow. Don't know if it has to do with my mood, but I hated the first part of it! Tonight when I watched the last hour of it, I really started to enjoy it (the football game had my in hystarics!
I am almost tempted to watch the first half to see if my opinion will change--almost.
BANG!
Hot lips: Oh, my God, they shot him!!
Henry (I think): That was the end of the quarter, you nincompoop!
Well, whatever the quote was, that cracked me up!!!
I feel like I am making less sense than usual, and I appologize....
OOoohh, one more thing!! Got a book from library (been waiting for the person to return it so I could get it for over a month!! The Secrets of the M*A*S*H Mess. The Lost Recipes of Private Igor--by Jeff Maxwell *SOJ* I haven't done more than thumb through the recipies (Adam's ribs, Winchester's Upper Crusted Chicken, etc), but I did read the Forwards by Alan Alda and another by Larry Gelbart. Gelbart said in closing "I commend you on this book, Jeff. I couldn't put it down. I'll leave that to the critics." Alda's forward is quite funny. I might type it out sometime. There are also a lot of neat pictures scattered thoughout the book--unfortunately, they are only in black and white--and some memorable food quotes. Gonna have fun reading through this :D
