just words. simple words from me.
i remember the waiting. i was there a couple of years. well, not as devoted in the earlier parts as i am now, but devoted nonetheless. i feel as if i saw you guys grow up before my eyes. from the awkwardness and dorkiness of youth, to the maturity and kakkoi-ness of manhood. affectionately, i refer to you as my boys - like a mother would to her precious sons. although my feelings for you aren't even remotely close to that, and nvm the fact that some of you are older than me. what matters is the feeling - of connection, of pride, of genuine concern and love.
yes, i am very proud of kat-tun and of everything that you guys have achieved so far.
oricon stats, sales records, awards, numerous guestings and shows - these are just manifestations of your hard work.
what i am most proud of is the attitude. the determination to push forth your best every time, and the fact that you never ever slack off.
the ability to remain as unchanged by fame as possible. the way i see it, the kat-tun of today is still the kat-tun of before. k is still the hot, cam-whoring, sensitive, and semi-insecure turtle. a still has the most beautiful voice, and can still evoke powerful ero thoughts with one look, then leaves you laughing with one silly remark yes i blatantly ignore the months of absence; j is still ever-smiling and bully-ing magnet jurro; post-debut k is still the koki who dishes out the most amazing raps amidst exaggeratingly funny facial expressions; u is still the pretty, mysterious, and amazingly lovable hime of before minus the gackt craze; and m, dear dear maru is still the sensible voice of the group. they are still the same dorks, who are not afraid to make fun of themselves, but at the same time, know when to get serious. the same 6 guys who insist on their ideas, who weather any storms they meet along the way and come out victorious and wiser (i would like to believe that), and who are not afraid to dream and see those dreams come true.
a year of being recognized officially. 12months of awesomeness and greatness and all other superlatives that can never truly describe everything that kat-tun is capable of. i look forward to more from you. i know you will continue to amaze me. and nvm if the whole fickle fandom turns its back on you of course this will never ever happen. i shall be there. i shall continue to support. for, above all else, i am most proud that i fell in love with a group such as yours.
