Attempting...what, exactly?mib_khanNovember 12 2006, 04:03:11 UTC
The door slides open, and a trio of Khans barge into evil_storvik's quarters. One tackles the Vulcan, bringing him to his knees, while another slams a hypospray against evil_storvik's neck. ES has time to hear the hiss of the hypospray before the effects of the neuromuscular blocking agent drop him to the floor, incapable of conscious movement.
The third Khan taps his combadge. "Runabout Ankh, you have the Vulcan kid? Good. Four to beam over." He looks down at the paralyzed Vulcan, and says as the transporter effect takes them out of Storvik's room, says, "You can relax. You don't have to be the only competent one around. The Khan turns to the Runabout's pilot, who is also a Khan, and says, "Course set for Khanworld? Take us away." A fifth Khan places T'Sorvik in front of her father as the blocking agent wears off.

As the drug inhibiting his movement wears off, "Evil" Storvik forceably restrains himself from moving as he asks, "What exactly is going on here, Doctor?"

All of the Khans say in unison, "'Evil' Storvik, Khanworld has received a Khantract to retrieve you and your child to Khanworld for interviewing and possible pickup by a third party. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you

"There is nothing dubious about my ethics; however, your current actions cause me to question what I thought I knew of yours. Will any further information be upcoming about this 'third party' to which you refer?"
Standard Starfleet security protocols are easy for me to overcome, due to my counter-espionage training in the Imperial Fleet and the somewhat lax, by comparison, security standards here.
The doctor will be aware of this, and have modified this runabout's systems accordingly.
I tested my commbadge, Federation issue although in the shape of an Imperial emblem, and got no response. I expected none, but Khan would have expected me to try.

"My apologies; I misstated a fact about ethics. You have been observed in the past to posess extremely flexible ethics, so the assumption is that any ethics you are currently using may not sufficiently constrict your actions in a way we can predict

"I made few, if any, such comments in public; I must assume that you had my private conversations with Storvik under surveillance. Again, I question your ability to criticize my ethical rules - mine merely differ from the Federation norm, as do yours."
(I choose not to concede this point, as there is little else I have at the moment.)
"As for my forced 'egress' being a 'good' thing - that depends upon three things: all of which are 'location'. Humans have a saying about an egress from a frying pan into fire."

One of the Khans taps a button on his tricorder; there is a moment's pause from all Khans on board the Ankh, at which point two Khans turn towards each other, shake hands, and say, "Pot, Kettle - damn glad to meet you." All of the Khans then say in unison to Storvik, "But enough about ethics. Here you are. You're not where you were. Count your blessings. And you're currently not being fried or broiled." One Khan, in the corner, holding some kind of pipe, asks, "But would you like to be baked?" He then takes a long drag on the pipe, which bubbles merrily.
