Happy Easter!

Haha - no I'm not a member of some strange cult that celebrates the Easter holiday two weeks late. That's just what happens when you don't update regularly. :/

But let's leave that behind and start with something even more depressing - the chances of renewal for my favorite shows:
7. Reaper: about 5%
6. Life: about 5%
5. Dollhouse: about 10%
4. Supernatural: 95% (already renewed, season 5 will air as long as the CW doesn't go bankrupt)
3. Terminator: about 5%
2. Lost: 100%
1. Chuck: about 30%

Pretty depressing, huh?!
Of course, I'd be especially heart-broken if Chuck didn't get another season. First they brought Jill back and then they had the most awesome episode in the history of awesome. I'm a little afraid the finale might disappoint me, because it just can't get any bigger or better than 2x21. Well, there's Bryce so maybe it can?! About its chances, judging by the numbers and in light of NBC's horribly stupid Leno-deal I'd say it's a goner. Then again, maybe all the fan-campaigns and product placement can help. HEY ADVERTISERS, IT WORKS! I ate at Subway's and drank gallons of Red Bull since they supported the show. (I would have drunk gallons of Red Bull anyway, but who cares *g*)

As for Terminator, what a great finale! I wasn't as pissed at the creators as I thought I would be, because it kinda works as a series finale too, if you regard the final scene as the beginning of the circle. Still I so much want to see what happens next, how the John Connor no one knows manages to become the leader.

With Life, it's a different story. Of course I want to see more and I think they have a lot more stories to tell, but if it doesn't get renewed, 2x21 would have been one of the most satisfying series finales ever.

As a side note: I intend to finally watch Deadwood during the boring summer months, mainly for Garret Dillahunt, who was amazing in both Terminator and Life (I mean, his Life-character was one of the most convincingly evil villains on television and he was just in three(!) episodes over the course of the show). But looking at his imdb, I got confused: Did he play two different characters in Deadwood or did the character just switch names?

Enough for now, hope to be back tomorrow with some thought about the Chuck finale.
