Hello again! (Yeah, we already reached the point where the introductions after yet another long absence get lamer every time...)
Let's start with the strike. As you might know, they agreed to meet next Monday and I think it's safe to say that this meeting will decide if there's any chance left that the strike might end this year. If they piss each other off (once again) I doubt that there'd be another meeting before the end of the year (and that would probably mean that the season is officially done). I have to say that I'm not very optimistic...
Speaking of... is NBC already using scab writers on Heroes? That's the only explanation I have for this week's episode...
Heroes 2x09: That? Was all kinds of AWESOME! But let's start with a controversial issue: I think that it would have been an even better episode without the final minute. See, I'm glad that Bennett isn't dead (as a matter of fact, the episode once again showed that he is the best character on the show) but with the healing resurrecting capability of Claire's blood, no one ever has to die again. Oh, well, not that anyone (important) on this show ever did.
But except for that, there was so much great stuff. Hell, they even made me like Elle (:O) and West (double :O). While the Bennett-storyline was the most exciting (duh!), ALL of the storylines were interesting. And I don't have a problem with Mohinder being stupid, after all his characterization is consistent ;)
I was on the edge of my seat during some of the scenes (which is a first for this season) and I'm excited for next week (which, too, is a first for this season). Glad to have you back, show!
In other news, Zachary Levi is the most enviable guy out there!
Chuck 1x09: Making out with Yvonne Strzechowski AND Rachel Bilson over the course of one episode?! Damn. Yeah, I know it's not real and all but still..! *pouts* Now the only goal left is to make out with Adam Baldwin *lol* Who just rocks so much! I think quoting all of Casey's great lines in this episode would exceed the words-limit for this entry and Baldwin's delivery is spot on, all of the time.
As for the episode itself, I liked it (The KISS, Casey, Lester, the KISS, even Morgan). My only complaint is that everything was just so damn predictable.
Finally, while Supernatural is on hiatus for at least three weeks, last week's episode deserves some praise:
Supernatural 3x07: Easily the best episode of the season and in a while. It was dark, gory and suspenseful. In the end, I was sad to see Gordon (great job by Sterling K. Brown) and even Kubrick (Michael Massee was severely underused) go.
Finally a vampire-episode that didn't suck (Ha!)
