The Funny and the not so Funny
The first week of the year brought us a couple of new episodes. The premiere of The Knights of Prosperity, which was as funny as I remembered it, the premiere of In Case of Emergency, which wasn't that funny and -besides the hotness that is Kelly Hu- didn't give me a reason to continue watching.
And Friday Night Lights, which wasn't that funny either, but in a good way:
- I liked everything about Jason's storyline. It was realistic, painful and Scott Porter did a great job in showing how hard it was for Jason to have 'this problem'.
- Poor Matt! Just when he thinks he finally gets some help. And while his Dad was of course acting like a jerk most of the time, they still managed to let him have some humanity.
- Not so sure about the Tim-storyline. Yeah, Tami is right but I still hope they don't make her too preaching-ly annoying. But of course I liked Tim's interaction with Landry and the look on Tim's face when Landry told him that the 'gig' wasn't over was hilarious.
- The football scenes were rather heavy-handed again, but I didn't mind this time.
Finally, I normally don't do post this things, but in this case... :D
