You know, the one advantage to my computer *still* being buggered, is that I'm sitting here in the living room with the laptop, and can turn my head a bit and watch the snow falling outside. That is, I think, one of my favorite parts about snow...just watching those white fluffy blobs fall down to the ground. I'm tempted to get up and open the blinds a little bit more, just to have a bit of an area to watch
Of course snow can also be evil, especially when there was still patches of ice here and there. Managed to literally end up sprawled on my back this morning putting doggy unmentionables in the dumpster. Ebony, of course, seemed to think this was a new kind of game. Was quite thankful for the patch of grass that's next to the dumpster, otherwise I'd probably *still* be trying to get up. [an exaggeration...downstairs neighbors would have helped me up, I think...]. Should have been more careful though, when Ebony made a distinctly Bambie-like move when she went up to sniff the dumpster like she usually wants to [and keeping her from licking whatever she finds on the ground by that thing....oy vey. Silly Lab.]
As pretty as it is though, I'm *not* looking forward to tomorrow morning. Unless work calls up later today and says "nope, we're gonna stay closed tomorrow" or something, I get to go in first thing in the morning. Which, whether I do it tonight [the more sensible option] or morning [not so great option] I'm going to be shoveling out the car in the dark. With a big metal mixing bowl [again, just like last year!!], because guess who FORGOT to get a shovel. And I was even in Wal-Mart at 7am this morning. **sighs**
Fun times. XD
And so, the hubby discovered that Disney, instead of giving us the REST of 'Gargoyles' on DVD, decided....to put it all up on YouTube. First season's playlist is
here, couldn't figure out where there might be one for season two, but the episodes are listed as YouTube does to the side [I checked by watching the opening of the last ep of season one], so they are there. And hey, the quality at least looks good from the opening that I watched. And since it's YouTube, it's free, so hey, at least I can watch the rest of the series again SOMEHOW. So all is good.
**grumbles** and the brother might have pointed us to YET ANOTHER good series [he pointed us to 'Fringe'!], and it's 'Supernatural' of all things. A show that didn't hit my radar for some reason at first, and with the BUTTON of 'Supernatural' slashfic between the two brothers [incest being a MAJOR SQUICK of mine] I've seen I've been like "eww, no." But now that the hubby's watching it [and he sees nearly as many "slashy moments" as I do, and he doesn't see it yet] I'll probably break down and watch it myself. Netflix for the win!!
