Ginger Boy update - almost 2 months!
Today, Mr Macaroni took Ginger Boy to the pediatrician for his 2 month checkup. Our boy is big! The stats: 11 lbs 12 oz (60th percentile), length 22.5" (43rd percentile) & head circumference 65th percentile (the noggin is big ... like Mr Macaroni's!).
He's a healthy boy. We've seen smiles aplenty. He loves looking at the mobile. Although he doesn't sleep through the night, he's only waking up 2x and going to sleep promptly ... or at least allowing me to put him back down without howling bloody murder, which is the next best thing! The only thing we need to work on is being more consistent about tummy time. Oh well.
Because the company's insurance situation has changed, we will no longer be on Kaiser (OMGWTF!), so it will be a necessary PITA to find a new pediatrician & get both boys in for their check-ups. So it goes. Fortunately, they are working to get Kaiser for their CA employees starting next year. :-D
